Session (JSESSIONID) | Session cookies are generated on all our sites by default. These will contain a single session ID to tie the user to their session. This allows us to differentiate between users who are logged in and those who are not, to allow different access, content and functionality depending on the users permissions. (In other words, we require the session cookie to work to be able to login to the CMS and update the site.) The session cookie may also be required in order to enable certain functionality to work - e.g. Zip Manager, Contact Form validation. We do not use these session cookies to log or track any information about a user or their behaviour. The session cookies are not used for Statistics. The session cookie will only last for the duration of the user accessing the website. |
